I am currently a high school counselor and assistant athletic director. I have been in education over 15 years. I, like many, saw the impact COVID-19 had on myself and my colleagues. As, a current graduate student, my classmate and I decided to investigate the effect COVID-19 has had on teacher (educator) morale.
COVID-19 presented many challenges for everyone including educators. It also weighed heavy on many people’s morale. During this session we will offer the results of research that we conducted as it relates to Teacher Morale during the Pandemic. We will also dive into what teachers are doing to relieve work related stress as well as suggestions of what school or district leaders can do to better support teachers' well being.
