This session will introduce practices and approaches to computer science teacher coaching, based on both practice and research from Cornell Tech’s Teacher in Residence program. A panel of experienced CS coaches will speak about coaching as an important form of CS teacher development and sustainability in schools, explore how districts and other organizations can make use of the card deck, and share CS coaching resources. Participants will also have the opportunity to explore the new Coaching Toolkit card deck.
