Like teachers, students are facing stressful conditions like never before. These conditions are leaving many young people feeling weary and disconnected. While there are many priorities to juggle, a few minutes pause may make the difference between a student staying present or checking out. We can use these pauses to help students reset, to help them manage stressful feelings, and to help them reconnect with themselves and one another so that they are more ready to learn.
