PIA continues to focus on educating young people on the career opportunities the aviation industry provides. A downturn in commercial aviation because of COVID-19 has resulted in students exploring less traditional jobs in the field, like cargo, manufacturing, and MRO facilities, which still have a critical need for maintenance technicians. We will discuss the significant opportunities, salary outlook, transferable skills, and aviation initiatives at the high school and professional level. Since 1929, PIA has helped students find success worldwide by equipping students with the knowledge and attitude they need to succeed in their chosen fields.
