Education and Business Summit

One in five high school graduates is functionally illiterate. CTE has a unique angle to tackle this problem. There is no skill you can teach that will matter more than literacy skills. Come learn how the Law and Public Safety Education Network (LAPSEN) is asking teachers to implement one strategy in each unit to improve literacy education in CTE. While this program is being implemented in LPS classrooms, the skills and concepts apply to all CTE environments.
