The landscape of computer science education has changed dramatically from 2015 to 2020. In 2016, a Task Force was formed to assess the needs of the state and make recommendations moving forward. That work prompted the creation and implementation of K-8 and 9-12 Computer Science and Digital Literacy Standards. Most recently, changes to the graduation requirement have mandated that all students take a Computer Science course before graduating high school. This session will present the data, findings, and recommendations from a landscape report recently conducted through an ECEP co-sponsorship.
