I am the Health Science Education Associate at SCDE.  People can ask me questions about Health Science courses, standards, concentrators, completers, credentials, teacher certification, and SC HOSA. I have been in my current position since  2012.
My past experience includes program management, organizational leadership, secondary education, adult education, nurse education, and various medical positions as a nurse, exercise specialist, and pharmacy technologist. I have a Master of Science in Nursing with a concentration in Education and undergraduate degrees with concentrations in nursing, exercise science, and psychology. I have been involved in the medical field for 40 years and in education for 22 of those years.
I am the SC HOSA Director and have been involved with HOSA for 18 years.  I also serve as the reporter for the SC ACTE HSE Division and as chair-elect on the executive council of the National Consortium of Health Science Education Board of Directors.
